Shipping policy
Our products
From February 2025 all products are shipped chilled. None of our products have been frozen and are suitable for home freezing.
Our packaging keeps the products chilled for 48 hours during transit. Please refrigerate or freeze upon receipt.
We make wors several times a week which means you will receive the wors fresher than ever.
All our products are suitable for home freezing. Freeze before ‘Best Before Date’. Consume within 5 months of freezing. Once defrosted, consume within 3 days.
Shipping and Collection
1. DPD Delivery
We use Royal Mail Tracked 24 service.
Order from £75 ship free of charge. Orders below £75 incur a packaging and delivery charge of £6.90.
We aim to process all orders within 1-2 days. Sometimes we take longer. This is either due to low stock or unpredictable drying times for Biltong and Droewors.
Orders placed after 12noon on Friday will be shipped on Monday.

IMPORTANT! Please note that it is your responsibility to ensure Royal Mail can deliver to your house. Please make sure your delivery address is complete and accurate. We cannot take responsibility for lost parcels as a result of incorrect or missing address information.
If you are not going to be in, you must specify a secure location, or nominate a neighbour to receive your parcel.

If the package cannot be delivered, the contents of the parcel will be destroyed.
Please note that Royal Mail does not deliver on Sundays or Bank Holidays.
2. Collection
You can collect your order from our site in Basingstoke. Collection times are Monday to Friday between 10am and 2.30pm. Collection Address is Hassocks Wood, Stroudley Road in Basingstoke, RG23 8UQ.
3. The Street Bakeshop
We stock some products in our Bakery/Coffeeshop in Old Basing, The Street, RG24 7BW. You can find Boerewors, Biltong and Droewors in the fridge to the right.
